Woodland NymphsMy daughter turned 13 on the 4th of July. It's crazy to even think that I have a teenager. What's even crazier is watching her blossom into this young woman. A few months ago, we were talking about her birthday and she told me that she'd like to do a woodland fairy or nymph session with my nieces, who are also 2 of her best friends. My heart literally wanted to explode. I've been teaching her how to use a camera and being able to watch her imagination and skill grow in something that I am so passionate about, is so amazing. We decided to do the photos at Eschbach Park, which is hands down my favorite place to shoot. There's so much this park offers and it was the perfect setting for the type of session we were thinking of doing. We also decided to wait until sunset because it also just fit with what we were trying to do, but also because nothing beats sunset light. It has an almost magical feel about it. Getting the girls ready was so fun and it immediately made me both excited and terrified of the coming days of getting ready for dances. The final product was pretty darn breathtaking. The girls looked so beautiful and so grown up, my heart immediately squeezed when they came out in their dresses and flower crowns. I hope these 3 never lose this bond they have with one another. Enjoy!
