As a wedding photographer, it's easy to get so wrapped up in capturing the day, that I don't allow myself to really enjoy it. That was not the case with the Soto wedding. I've know Jamie and her family for years, so I knew it would likely be a fun bridal party. But every single person attending this wedding was awesome and so sweet. I can't tell you how many times someone asked if I needed a drink or food, or a shot of tequila :) From the bride and groom, to the entire wedding party, and every guest in between. Everyone was there to celebrate and love on the couple and just have a good time. It will likely go down as one of my favorite weddings I've ever had the privilege of capturing.
The couple met each other in 2014 and ran into each other often through mutual social interactions. During covid, they reconnected on social media, and the rest is history. Their ceremony took place at St. Pauls Cathedral, followed by a reception at the brides gorgeous family property. A mariachi band, some tearful speeches by the maids' of honor, a conga line and so many tequila shots are just some of the memorable moments from the day. The couple will be traveling to Honduras for their honeymoon and to attend a friends wedding. While there, they plan to swim with dolphins, a first for both.
Jamie and Jesse, it was truly such a privilege to be part of your special day. I pray for a life full of firsts and so many blessings.
