La Coursiere Wedding- January 23rd, 2021Chaz is a nurse educator and Camille is a nurse at the hospital. The two met at work and what started as friendship developed into more, and the two have been together for 3 years. As so many of us know, the past year has been about change and adapting to a different way of life. Weddings around the world were no different. Chaz and Camille had originally planned on a ceremony in the Philippines, but plans changed once Covid took the world by storm. But one thing Covid can't stop is love and two people determined to become husband and wife. Chaz and Camille had an intimate wedding at Holy Family Cathedral, with only their family present. The day may not have been what they originally had in mind, but that didn't stop the event from being full of love, laughter and happy tears. Traditionally for weddings, I have most of the day with my bride and groom. As this was such a intimate event, I only spent a few short hours with the couple. I may not have had an abundance of time with them, but this did not stop me from witnessing the great love they share. From the first look, to fist/elbow bumps from the family, this was a day of celebrating the love between these two and their families. The couple still hope to have a ceremony in the Philippines later this year, but for now are happy to be newlyweds and back at work in the hospital.
